FABTECH Las Vegas 2026: SUDA Laser Welcomes Customers on Day One

On October 21, 2026, FABTECH 2026 opened at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. As one of North America's leading events for metal forming, fabrication, welding, and finishing, FABTECH brings together manufacturers, industry professionals, and technology suppliers from around the world.

Strong Interest in Our Handheld Laser Welding Machine

The first day of FABTECH 2026 got off to a busy start at the SUDA Laser booth. Our handheld laser welding machine quickly attracted a crowd, with visitors gathering around the demonstration area to watch our technician operate the equipment.

After seeing the demonstration, many visitors wanted to try the machine themselves and experience its welding performance firsthand. These hands-on interactions are one of the most rewarding parts of exhibiting, giving potential customers the opportunity to see how the equipment works and ask practical questions about its performance and operation.

Some visitors also noticed the green acrylic protective enclosure around the welding demonstration area. This enclosure was installed to meet the exhibition organizer's requirements and is not part of the standard production machine.

Safety is always important for handheld laser welding equipment. The laser gun features a human presence detection function designed to prevent laser emission when the gun is pointed in an unsafe direction, such as toward a person. Operators should always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions and use appropriate protective equipment.

Reconnecting with Customers at FABTECH 2026

Before the exhibition, we sent invitations to many of our existing customers and encouraged them to visit us in Las Vegas. Most of the customers who were able to attend came from California, Nevada, and nearby areas.

Unfortunately, none of our East Coast customers could make it this time. With flights to Las Vegas taking around four to five hours, traveling to the show can be challenging when schedules are tight. Even so, we were pleased to learn that they were interested in the exhibition and the latest developments in metalworking technology.

As a major event for the metal fabrication industry, FABTECH provides a rare opportunity for manufacturers and suppliers to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new equipment and technologies.

One particularly pleasant surprise was meeting a customer we had previously encountered at FABTECH in Mexico. Seeing a familiar face at another industry event made the first day even more memorable and reminded us how valuable these exhibitions are for building long-term business relationships.

More Female Exploring Industrial Manufacturing

Another detail that caught our attention was the number of women visiting the exhibition floor. Women are becoming increasingly visible across the industrial and manufacturing sectors, and it was encouraging to see them taking an interest in the equipment on display.

Although many were visiting alongside family members or colleagues, we noticed that s

everal took the time to observe our machines closely and pay attention to their operation and build quality.

Interest in industrial technology comes from all kinds of backgrounds, and these interactions were a welcome part of our first day at FABTECH 2026.

Day One at FABTECH Las Vegas 2026: A Promising Start

The first day of FABTECH Las Vegas 2026 was productive for SUDA Laser. From the strong interest in our 3000W handheld laser welding machine to conversations with new visitors and familiar customers, the exhibition gave us plenty of opportunities to connect with people in the metal fabrication industry.
